Francis is a lawyer of forty-years standing and lives in Chicago.

 

In the course of his practice he has told a lot of stories: fortunately for his law license, most of them fact based. Now his horizons are shifting and he’s trying to bring his stories to the stage.

He has had one short number, MUSEUM PIECE, performed at the Madkap Theatre’s Short Play Festival in 2019 and another, THE ONLY LAOS I KNOW, scheduled for the same festival in 2020 before Covid. 
 

His full-length plays include BIG BOX, RAPIDO, and JUSTICIA, which received a production at Chicago's Yellow Rose Theatre in Fall of 2023.

He was a semi-finalist in the Dramatists Guild 2023 Nationwide Virtual Fellows Program, and is a member of Chicago Dramatists.
