Patricia spent many years in New York City and the international art world and has lived in Upstate New York, Wisconsin, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington, DC, and New Jersey. She now resides permanently in rural Indiana.

 

Patricia received her MFA in Playwriting from Goddard College. Her play HUMID OR THE RAPE OF THE ARTIST'S BLACK WIFE, was one of eight finalists out of three-thousand entries in the National Hinton Battle Emerging Playwrights multicultural competition. Humid received a staged reading in New York and in London, England, at Jerwood Center. Other plays, including ASYLUM or MADNESS & THE WHOLE THING THERE and ROBBI AT THE CONFLUENCE, have received readings in New York, London, and other locations. 

 

Her plays and poetry explore the space between Us and Them in all its contradictory layers. Inspired by her wandering and witnessing, her work is informed by the unsettling behaviors of both herself and others.​

 

She is a Chicago Dramatists Network Member; a member of the Dramatists Guild; Women Writing for a Change in Bloomington, IN; the London Panhellenic Society; Playwrights Center.
